Sacramento Experimental Seminar, April 30th 2011

Dear Friend,

I will be holding an experimental Seminar with Bill Ryan, from Project Avalon, on the 30th of April in Sacramento.

1) Friends and family are most welcome if you feel they're the kind of kindred spirits who will resonate with the themes of this seminar.

2) The room we're looking to hire is in the Joe Mims Community Center:

The web page has a good map. The venue should be confirmed on Wednesday evening.

3) Assuming the forecast numbers (and this venue), the cost per person would almost certainly be $20 or less, and will cover the cost of the venue. Bill and I are not charging for this Seminar because it is a co-created experiment where we will be working for the first time together in this capacity. You can make a contribution when you arrive, or via PayPal if you'd like to donate something now.

4) Bring your own food and non-alcoholic drink (of any kind). We'll have a lunch break, but there are no other refreshment facilities to hand. In the break we can co-ordinate a shuttle, carpools, to nearby restaurants.

5) We'll start at 10 am, and will continue till 6 pm. The doors will open at 9 am.

6) We'll record the event, but we won't stream it live and will not make it available online after the event. That's not the purpose of this event, which is experimental. We would do that later, in other dates/venues.

7) A note on what we mean by an 'experimental seminar':

Bill and I are both experienced with groups, but we've not yet co-presented in public. We're also going to be intuiting and improvising considerably, as we 'feel out' what form this kind of event might best take. It's a learning experience for us too.

While all this is happening, what you're likely to hear are some of the most inspiring, interesting and clarifying personal stories, messages and information you could wish for.
